Dark mode is a feature we all wanted for all our applications. The introduction of material design since Android 5.0 (Lollipop) but it’s display just got brighter and brighter straining the eyes. But also consumed more energy. During night time reading a article, blogs or just scrolling some applications is a huge pain. With the introduction of Android 10 a global dark mode was introduced but the Android applications were still far from switching to it. Popular applications of Google like YouTube, Phone, Contacts, Calendar, Drive, etc already announced the dark mode. Also many other applications released their versions of dark mode, some having a dark gray background while some having a pitch black dark mode.

In the end Facebook is also currently working on launching it’s new updated UI for the browser with dark mode. Also the Facebook app will also receive a dark mode update soon. But currently dark mode for Facebook lite has been officially released.

In order to get the dark mode please update your Facebook lite to version 185.0.0.6.118. Then go to settings and turn on the dark mode.
