Android 7.0 Nougat update: Complete list of OnePlus, Nexus, Samsung, Motorola, HTC, Sony devices expected to get firmware upgrade

Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat firmware update intends to give users a stable and rich OS experience. A number of HTC, Nexus, Motorola, OnePlus, Samsung and Sony devices are expected to receive the firmware upgrade by the end of 2016.

Smartphone users are keen to know when exactly would Android 7.0 Nougat update be released for their respective phone. Given below is a list of devices expected to receive firmware update, along with the estimated time of release.

 

Nexus

The Nexus series belongs to the first set of phones that receive any update. The Android 7.0 Nougat update first began for the Nexus series in August. The Tech Times reports that Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P owners started to face problems after upgrading their OS.

Apart from these two versions of the Nexus phones, the following devices have the option for upgrade:

It is rumored that the upcoming OnePlus 4 will have Android 7.0 Nougat update preinstalled on the device. Meanwhile, the company is trying hard to get the most recent OS for OnePlus 3.

OnePlus 3 is expected to receive firmware upgrade in the first quarter of 2017, followed by its predecessor. So, here are the OnePlus phones expected to receive Android 7.0 Nougat firmware upgrade:
